The centerpiece of this giveaway is the ION-X Hyperlite AR-15 from Faxon Firearms, an ultralight rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO that was generously provided by Faxon Firearms. Built around Faxon’s X-Tra Lite skeletonized receiver set, this rifle has been outfitted with a 16-inch pencil barrel with a nitride coating. To reduce its weight even further, these rifles come equipped with a specialized 13-inch Carbon Fiber M-LOK handguard, and Faxon’s Gunner Lightweight BCG. It also has a 14-position adjustable gas block, and it comes with Faxon’s Match Trigger. Altogether, this is a highly functional rifle that’s incredibly light, weighing in at just 4.93 pounds.
Making this rifle range-ready, Primary Arms has partnered with EOTech, who has supplied one of their EXPS3-DCR holographic sights. EOTech is known for crafting some of the industry’s most durable and battle-proven optics, with the EXPS3-DCR being no exception. This optic is built around a rugged aluminum optic body and is rated to perform in harsh conditions across hot and freezing environments. Unlike other optics in this series, this EXPS3 optic comes with EOTech’s Danger-Close Reticle, which features a 1-MOA center dot, a modified speed ring, and a lower chevron to hold for height over bore at close range. Powered by a CR-123 battery, this optic offers 1,000 hours of usable battery life and has 30 brightness settings.
“Halloween is the perfect time to give back something special to our customers, and we couldn’t be happier that Faxon Firearms and EOTech partnered with us to make it happen,” said Grace Jin, Director of Brand Marketing at Primary Arms. “The ION-X Hyperlite and EXPS3-DCR make for a lightweight, agile rifle build that’s perfect for the flat range or your next competition. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity.”
